A tech-enabled platform dedicated to cultivating the next generation of diverse founders through advising, grantmaking, and community-building services.

 

  • We envision a more equitable and inclusive startup ecosystem for the next generation of wealth-building Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and other diverse founders.

  • Underserved entrepreneurs with a focus on early stage & emerging Black, Latinx & Indigenous founders.

  • We work in the “mighty middle,” those communities that have a thriving entrepreneurial base but lack the attention and resources of the more dominant startup markets.

 

Founder Forward cohorts are run throughout the year and each has an organizing theme rooted in industry, impact, identity, or geography. Eligible founders / businesses can apply for any of the open opportunities below, or submit a general application to be considered when aligned opportunities arise.

Open Opportunities

Founder Forward is opening applications for a new cohort to take part in an impact day that will include an unrestricted capital of $4,500 and group advising with industry professionals with expertise in marketing, strategy, tech, finance, and more. We are focusing on Asian or Pacific Islander (API) founders who are building solutions in the New Longevity space and are interested in designing for an aging population. Founder Forward is opening applications for a new cohort to take part in a six-week program that includes unrestricted capital of $5,000, one-on-one advising with industry professionals, and group advising with industry professionals with expertise in marketing, strategy, tech, finance, and more. We are focusing on Black, Latinx, and Indigenous founders in the Bronx, who are building with sustainability in mind or who would like to incorporate more sustainable practices in their business.
